The University of Toledo Family Business Center and John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation Alumni Affiliate invite you to a craft beer lecture and tasting with Dr. Neil Reid, from 5 - 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 5 at The Blarney Event Center.

Dr. Neil Reid, professor of geography and planning at UToledo, is affectionately known as the "Beer Professor." He will speak about the phenomenal growth of the craft beer industry and its impact on economies and tourism. The doors open at 5 p.m. and the lecture will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Representatives from Black Frog Brewery, Earnest Brew Works, HEAVY Beer Co., Patron Saints Brewery and Twin Oast Brewing will be available to share their stories of success and some of their favorite brews.
 
The cost is $15 per person, which includes nine beer samples and appetizers. You must be 21 or older to attend. Proper ID required.
